Project Details: This project was a competitive bid project for Greene County that was to repair failing structural framing in the roof and ceiling of their court room. This work was required for them to continue on to the next phase of their remodel to the interior finishes of the building. The structural wood joist of the ceiling where failing and could not be removed and replaced. Therefore as per the engineer’s recommendations we temporarily supported the entire ceiling system with steel beams and columns to allow us to install steel plates and additional framing in the roof system. After repairs were completed all temporary steel was removed. The height of the ceiling framing and working on a second floor space made this project very interesting. |
